ACUVUE
The brief
I worked with ACUVUE for countless campaigns but I will use one example here.
ACUVUE Oasys MAX was a new product that ACUVUE wanted to push further with a full campaign including ads on TV and streaming platforms. They also wanted a social blast to accompany the TV ads. This campaign would essentially use a variant of a previous version of the campaign that I worked on. The client said that the previous campaign was very successful, this being the reason for a refresh.
The approach
Finding footage that illustrated the moments in life in which users would wear contact lenses was the most important part of the brief. Showing the various ages in the target market range while ensuring the people on screen had visible eyes. I storyboarded the video in a slightly different way to usual, ensuring that the client had signed off on each clip before putting the video together.
The videos would then have to be approved by both ClearCast and Peach before they made it onto TV. An experience that was interesting to navigate but made me a stronger Motion Designer in the end.
The outcome
The outcome of the project was a suite of assets that worked across various platforms. Simple to understand and easy to watch, the project was a success across each of the platforms.
